The Coronation is a completely fictional book written by my friend from Crown of Beauty , Livy Jarmusch. This novel is so amazing. I have literally never read a book like it.
The whole plot revolves around the royal family of Tarsurella, a made up European country, and their kingdom. That may sound uninteresting but there are so many different things happening at once that it is not boring or bland in any way. There is so much energy given off by each of the characters; Even the little kids have their own spunky personality that they bring to the page.
Millie is a little girl and royal princess in this story. She is full of craziness and child-like joy. Her presence in the story would always make me laugh.
The characters are only part of the book though. The plot feels modern even though it is talking about a monarchy. Don't even get me started on the unexpected twists and turns of the plot. I was always so surprised by what Livy could write.
And one more thing, you might think since it's a Christian novel that there can't be any romance. That's not true. I don't want to give anything away before you read it by I will say that this book definitely had me fangirling over some possibilities and characters.
P.S. So I could write a review about this book, I had a copy to read. I started reading it and thought, "Oh, I can do this later. I have plenty of time." I decide to read it while I'm on a tour of another country. While we are riding in the bus passing beautiful sights, I couldn't put this book down. It was so good!
