Sometimes God wants us to know something but He wants to make sure we know it's from Him. He tells us through a dream or a vision or a random person or something else. At Thanksgiving, I was with my family and there are a lot of people in my family but I don't know most of them that well that usually come. I mostly have to make small talk for a few hours (which I'm really bad at 🙈). I was talking to one of my great uncles. I want you to know that I only see him once a year at the most so trust me, I don't know him that well. On top of that, he hadn't slept the night before so he was also a little out of it. He started telling me how I was going to speak to thousands of people because they wanted to listen to me but not quite yet, in a little bit of time. That just kind of blew my mind and the strangest thing was is that it actually made sense to talk about in the conversation we were having. Also, other people told me that he wasn't really making too much sense because he was so exhausted. This could mean he could have been saying a bunch of nonsensical, random stuff but it could also mean that God was speaking through him; the conversation I had with my uncle made sense and didn't have many scattered thoughts. He seemed perfectly normal when I was talking to him. God speaks to us in mysterious ways and I really do think this is something from God. I was surprised when my uncle said this because he doesn't even know about this blogging thing I do. This just kind of shows how God can work through anyone, you young or old, kid or adult, male or female. "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. But set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 If being young doesn't apply to you, then you can fill in the blank with an excuse that you actually use. The point of the verse is to help us understand that it doesn't matter how unqualified we may seem. It only matters how qualified God is and therefore he will work through anyone no matter how crazy they may seem. You might be thinking, "Well, God isn't working through me so am I just excluded from this?" No! That is a crazy and untrue thought. You just might be in a season of receiving right now and that's okay. Or maybe you aren't spending enough time with God and that's why you aren't hearing Him. If you think you're in a season of receiving, make sure you spend plenty of time with God so you recognize His voice and listen to Him when He does want to work through you. God is constantly working through people all the time because He does have a plan of goodness for us and no child of God can be left out of that. I love y'all and I hope that you enjoyed this post 💕, KikiÂ
